The human body has an almost magical ability to heal itself. But every now and then, it needs some specialized help. That’s where we come in. At the Center for Rehabilitation at Medical City, we not only help patients recover from illness, injury or surgery, we set the standard for rehabilitation in North Texas.

For starters, we’re adept at healing all kinds of injuries for all kinds of patients, from pediatric through adult. We have dedicated therapists for virtually every specialty. Neurological. Orthopedic. Transplant. Cardiovascular. No wound is too deep. No condition is too serious.

The fact that our Center is located on the Medical City campus is another advantage for our patients. Stroke patients, for instance, have access to a variety of on-site specialists in the event a crisis occurs. It’s also easier to do swallow studies on dysphagia patients because radiologists and speech therapists work down the hall from one another, not down the street.

In addition to expert physicians and the very latest equipment, the Center for Rehabilitation offers a multidisciplinary team that helps patients in their efforts to get better. This team includes case managers, post-operation educators and insurance experts to precertify all procedures.
